Geraldine Ferraro, Latest Clinton Staffer to Resign over Race Bating
Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman to run for the Vice Presidency. Now she has something to say about the first serious African-American candidate, WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former congresswoman and vice-presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro is resigning her fundraising position with Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign after controversial comments she made about Clinton's rival, Sen. Barack Obama. "I am stepping down from your finance committee so I can speak for myself and you can continue to speak for yourself about what is at stake in this campaign," Ferraro wrote in a letter to Clinton. "The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you. I won't let that happen." Ferraro told CNN she sent the letter to Clinton Wednesday afternoon. Ferraro stirred controversy with her recent remarks that Obama's campaign was successful because he was black.
What is interesting about this is the fact she complains that Obama is successful only because he is black when she was only chosen as Mondale's running mate because she was a woman. Oh how times have changed, and yet again another member of Hillary's inner-circle is forced to resign because of a bad attempt to play the race card. At this rate Hillary will be out of staffers before her campaign runs out of gas, which the gage is already dangerously close to the red line.

The biggest irony here is, Hillary is running on the idea of being the first female president. So Hillary just pressured Farraro to quit over doing the same thing Hillary's entire campaign is based on.
